Mission
The mission of Todokai International is to promote, organise, administrate and regulate the traditional Shotokan karate practice, according to the norms and standards recognise and transmitted by the Nippon Dento Shotokan Karate Renmei Todokai, known under the name Todokai and founded by the Japanese Master Toru Yamaguchi.
Like in Japan, Todokai International has for objective to perpetuate the Japanese culture and to defend the ideas and the techniques from a very high tradition.
The goal of Todokai International is, before anything else, the respect and the application of the Dojo Kun taught by the Late Masters Gichin Funakoshi, Masatoshi Nakayama and Toru Yamaguchi.

• Each one must keep a strong spirit during the effort,
• Each one must respect the others and the etiquette,
• Each one must keep a strong courage all the time.
Todokai International wants that Karate-Do to be known as a discipline by reaching the brightness and balance of the human being and this, by ameliorating the physical and mental condition of each participant.
